Room Escape Game in Maths with CoSpaces
Due to the pandemic, the STEM Day which was scheduled to be held at school in the afternoon was changed into a virtual games day. With the use of CoSpaces, all students were able to experience a room escape game in which they had to solve a series of math puzzles to win the game. STEM prefects were asked to brainstorm the theme and create a number of math puzzles for the game. Through a lot of meetings and training on CoSpaces, STEM prefects were able to consolidate the theme and the concept arts of every scene. Once they developed a basic understanding of the functions of CoSpaces, they spent over two months into the programming and the aesthetic part of the game.

迷你溫室
學生需要分組設計並製造迷你溫室。學生需要運用適當的材料構建溫室的框架和牆壁。溫室內運用micro:bit監測溫室內的溫度並連接伺服馬達開關風扇以維持穩定的溫度。學生在完成設計溫室前會先學習熱傳遞過程及不同材料的應用。設計完成後,學生會開始製作溫室。同時,電腦堂會教學生使用micro:bit編程。學生製作溫室時需要加入風扇及設計通風結構以防止溫度過高。完成溫室後,學生需要初步測試溫室,確保micro:bit的編程及伺服馬達能正常運作。測試初步完成後,學生需要填寫實驗報告並改良溫室,務求令溫室能長時間維持穩定的溫度。完成數次測試及實驗報告後,學生需要完成反思工作紙以總結自己的學習心得。

Traffic Light Arduino Workshop
To deepen students' understanding and application of Arduino boards, this project was done for all S2 students in activity periods. There were three sessions for each class and they involve theories and planning with Tinkercad, followed by application with breadboard and real electronic devices. Students were divided into small groups to synthesize a mini circuit which simulates traffic lights as the final product.
